Thanks for signing up – if you’re in the USA, you can download your free copy of Book Marketing is Dead on Amazon. You can get the book here.

If it doesn’t show as free for you, here’s a link to the PDF.

I hope it’s useful!

I wrote the book a few years ago, and I’m surprised how relevant it continues to be – it’s because new authors have no idea where to start, and publishing and marketing seems overwhelming, and they don’t want to invest time and money in building up their own platform, email list or relationships.

They just want to pay for a million-person email blast or to have the book featured on TV.

The problem is, even when done well, that stuff doesn’t work, and if done poorly, not only will it be a complete waste of money, but it will also come across as spam and alienate your readers.

Hundreds of thousands of books are publishing every year and the vast majority of them sell less than 100 copies. If you’re serious about your book being successful, you need to get smart and learn the business. You can’t rely on anyone else to do it for you, and the only security is in building up your own fanbase.

That’s why I don’t offer any marketing services.

Instead, I focus on helping authors write books readers will love, and using unconventional marketing strategies that get big results. And my methods work: it’s no exaggeration to say I’ve helped over 10,000 people publish their books, gain more confidence in publishing, and actually start seeing real results.

Book Marketing is Dead is just the beginning; it will help you getting into the right mindset, which is: “First, provide value.”

“My email inbox teems with offers and insights from author and book marketing gurus – yet I still discovered NEW resource links and ideas in this book. I’ve increased my book sales by 300-500% in the past few months.”

But I have a ton of more recent articles, books, resources and courses that will help you when you’re ready to take the next step and go deeper; I also have writing and editing tips that will help you make sure your book is as good as it can be.

I recommend starting with these:

Why you should never hire a publicist for your book (do this instead)

The six signs of weak writing (how to tell if your book sucks)

Over the next few weeks, I’ll send some of my best resources and materials straight to your inbox, and if you’re still reading and engaging with my material, I’ll tell you more about working with me directly in my Guerrilla Publishing program (it’s invite-only).

Until then, I hope you enjoy the free book – here’s the link again to Get Book Marketing is Dead for free.
