Inspiration is about getting creative ideas. Motivation is about putting in the hours, finishing the work, and developing it all into a product people will buy. These two are by far the greatest hurdles to creative success; unlike “normal” jobs, creative endeavors take an incredible amount of willpower, dedication, focus and diligence. We need to choose our creative products over the myriad of social and entertaining distractions. We need constant support, approval, encouragement, ego-stroking. Since nobody else is likely to do all this for you, surrounding yourself with uplifting, inspiring, motivational quotes and imagery is a must.
