Unlike “normal” jobs, creative endeavors take an incredible amount of willpower, dedication, focus and diligence. We need to choose our creative products over the myriad of social and entertaining distractions. We need constant support, approval, encouragement, ego-stroking. Since nobody else is likely to do all this for you, surrounding yourself with uplifting, inspiring, motivational quotes and imagery is a must.
