Absolutely Love itI could do without the rainbow colors that light up the keyboard as you type, but after a couple of months of using the keyboard, I have gotten used to them and they are not as distracting as they were at first. You can turn off the lights completely, or choose a different lighting program by tapping the ‘return bar’ on the top left. The return bar looks like it did on the old typewriters, except its only function is to control the lights. The knobs on the sides, where once they scrolled your paper up or down, are now used for volume control (right side) and dimmer for the lights (left side). The Keyboard itself has the steampunk feel with the keys and it does include all of the keys we have become accustomed to on our laptop/computer keyboards. The keyboard syncs easily to my laptop, iPad, and phone. The charge holds for several weeks and I use my keyboard exclusively every day for several hours each day. You get a pop-up message letting you know that your keyboard has x% left and needs to be charged soon. You can still use the keyboard while it is charging and there are indicator lights that let you know when it is fully charged. This keyboard is fun to use and really makes me want to write more. The sounds are reminiscent of the old manual typewriters, and because those typewriters are now so expensive, not to mention with keys that are difficult to push down, this is a great alternative for the same feel electronically. In over 2 months of use, I have not had any negative experiences.Absolutely love this keyboard and recommend it!

Give and take but overall good I have the iPad Pro 12.9 it tips over when it is in vertically, horizontal it holds fine but it can tip over if you tap hard on your iPad in this position. I would give it 5 stars if it were able to hold up the iPad better but I do love the details and lighting. I bought this for 179 but as I was browsing after I bought it, there was another listing with a much lower price but same product. A bit frustrating seeing it as low as 117 but long delivery date. Easy to connect, not sure about battery life yet but it came 87% charged. Overall, I like this one compared to the others I was looking at, Qwerkywriter & knewkey.

Enjoy using this keyboard/Great Customer ServiceI bought this keyboard because of the way it looked and the description that is sounded and felt like using an old typewriter. I love the way it looks and the way it sounds. You are able to change the way the keys light up or turn the lights off entirely. It can be used by connecting directly to your computer/laptop or via bluetooth. The same connection is used to charge the battery for use when it is not connected directly to your computer. That connection broke within 2 months of me purchasing the keyboard, however, when I contacted the seller to tell them, they sent me a replacement keyboard very quickly with no fuss. Very pleased with the customer service I received.

The Wrong KeyI wanted to love this keyboard but the well is not deep enough to hold my new iPad Pro 12” and the back bar is not strong enough to support the weight of my iPad either. Likewise, the balance of the keyboard is unstable; every time I place my iPad in the cradle, the entire keyboard tips over. The other things that I was dissatisfied with were that the weight could have been better balanced, the return key doesn’t do anything except alternate the light patterns and there was no covering for the keyboard. The keyboard is beautiful and I loved the nostalgia of typing but kept missing the trackpad option on newer iPad keyboards. I can’t justify spending $200 on a Bluetooth enabled typewriter for my iPad because I would still need a trackpad and protective case. Returning.

This keyboard is EPIC! This keyboard is amazing. It connected right away to my work computer. It keeps my hands in a good position for typing and I’ve noticed less typos. The lights are beautiful, and the satisfying “click” sound as I type jist makes me want to keep typing. It’s worth the money.

Beautiful, but has a few quirksI bought one of these, it’s beautiful, and the clickity-clack noise it makes is awesome, but it has a few quirks:1. This really needs to be placed on a hard surface. I use it with my desktop, and use the faux roller area to hold my phone. This looks good and works pretty well. If you’re trying to use with your tablet on your lap, you will have problems.2. It’s harder to type on then a regular keyboard. It just is. There is a reason they stopped making them this way. The left shift key on mine, in particular is very hard to use. That said, it is amazing looking. I didn’t think I would like the lights, but I do. It would make a great gift for a writer.
